The Christmas Movies That Make Christmas

A Christmas Story: Some love this classic, and others are extremely annoyed by it, but it’s still one of those good old Christmas movies.  This classic brought uniqueness (leg lamp; pink bunny pajamas; official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle, etc.) to Christmas.

Charlie Brown Christmas:  Charlie Brown movies, especially Charlie Brown Christmas, bring back such great memories of childhood and how much we relate to poor Charlie Brown.

Elf: “You sit on a throne of lies” if you say you don’t like this movie.  The hilarity that ensues with each of Buddy’s quotes and missteps makes the Christmas season a million times better.  It almost makes you want to try his version of spaghetti.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Whether the Jim Carrey version or the classic cartoon, you can’t go through the Christmas season without watching at least one version of this story.  It is always a good reminder of what matters at Christmas!

It’s a Wonderful Life: No matter how many times you watch this movie, it can still make you tear up.  It is a fantastic reminder life is wonderful and that you make a difference.

Miracle on 34th Street: If you haven’t seen this movie, you need to take a couple hours and just do it.  It will make you believe in Santa again as little Susan does.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: This movie brings back such great memories of Christmas when we were kids (and when our parents were kids).

The Polar Express: One of those every-year Christmas movies that you can’t possibly live without.  The music is wonderful and brings in the Christmas magic.

White Christmas: This wonderful classic simply makes you nostalgic for snow and has wonderful music and fun dancing.  It’s such a great hot chocolate movie that just makes you smile.
