Starlight Temple Square Night

On December fifth, Bingham High students boarded the buses to drive to Temple Square.

There was a feeling of excitement and joy; everyone couldn’t wait to get downtown and take the Starlight foster kids around to look at lights. Although when the roughly 150 volunteers got downtown they were disappointed to discover there were only around 20 kids, so not everyone would get one on one time.

Nevertheless, the Miners grouped up and took the kids around Temple Square to look at lights, talk about Christmas, and exchange lists. After wandering in the cold weather the foster kids and Bingham students were welcomed at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to drink hot cocoa, and talk with the other kids.
