Bingham High’s Production of “Curtains”!

The Bingham High School Drama department put on a production of the musical Curtains. Running five performances, the cast and crew put on a show that blew away all of it’s audiences receiving standing ovations.

The acting in the show was absolutely superb. While it can be hard to find a balance between comedy and drama, this was not an issue for this cast. Every joke was well timed and told with such conviction that the audience had no choice but to keep smiling through the show.

In times of tragedy/heartbreak, the actors once again pulled it together and had everybody sitting on the edge of their seats.

Musically speaking the show absolutely hit the nail on the head. Not only were the actors voices incredible, the pit orchestra that accompanied the play sounded amazing. After talking with many members of the pit, they said the music was some of the hardest music they have ever played.

After seeing the show I believe that the only negative comment I can give it was the length of time that it ran. Three hours is a long time to watch a show, and while it was a great show, it was still hard to sit through three hours.

Overall the Bingham Actors, Singers, Dancers, Stage Hands, and Musicians all did a great job that put on a fantastic show.
