Have you heard? Binghams’ theater company is putting together the show Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat! If you havent let me tell you all about it.
Joseph, played by Ammon Bytheway, is a musical written by Tim Rice and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It is a story from the Bible adapted to the stage that follows the events of what happened to Joseph in Egypt. He goes from being sold into slavery by his brothers to Potipher, played by Jack Knudsen, where Joseph gets framed by Potiphar’s wife. Landing him in prison where he meets the Baker, Zachery Micbride, and the Butler, Josh Demke. He helps them decode their dreams so they can achieve their dreams.
Joseph’s new friends help him meet the pharaoh, Chris Paccini, to help him decode his strange dream. Joseph helped Egypt avoid the famine by decoding the Pharaoh’s dream, becoming his right hand man. Lets not forget the narrators, played by Alyssa Taylor, Maddie Butterfield and Ariana DeMill, who are there every step of the way. You can watch one of the most interesting Bible stories performed while supporting our amazing theater company!
