Homecoming 2025 here at Bingham was a success! Students had many activities to participate in, from people dressing up during the week, activities after school, to the assembly, to the football game where royalty was announced, and the actual Homecoming dance.
Spirit week took place from Monday to Friday leading up to the dance. Each day had a different theme and activity after school that students could participate in. Monday was camo out, Tuesday was bird day, Wednesday was culture day, Thursday was denim day, and Friday was white out.
For the homecoming assembly, students and teachers gathered together to watch many different clubs perform, sing the National Anthem, and hit a drill bit with a hammer to symbolize the Pay Dirt Club. Student Amelia Hayes says “going to the assembly, I had a great time. The high energy and excitement in the gym makes it a very fun place.”
The football game took place on Friday, and beforehand there was a chalk throw and tailgate. The chalk throw left students covered in blue chalk and blue paint. Amelia commented that she had “never seen so many blue people all at once.” After the tailgate the football game started, and every student on the team worked together to win against Riverton in a close game, 28-26.
Saturday, the day of the dance, was full of group day dates, getting ready, and taking pictures. The dance started at 7, and when students arrived, they were met with decorated hallways, teachers scanning tickets, and the gym all set up with music and lights. In the gym students were crowded around, all talking to and enjoying time with friends and dates.
