Bingham is known for having the largest and loudest student section. And most of the time we have good reason for that. Bingham has proved itself to have an exceptional sports program.  Though Bingham excels at and consistently has decent to spectacular teams in most sports, they have dominated the football field.

This past football season was Bingham’s first real disappointment in a long time. A lot of people were happy to see the 5A state championship go to another school for the first time since 2012. But for most Bingham high school students it was a big disappointment to watch them get beat. Everyone needs a bit of humbling every now and then and so some argue that even though yes, it was disappointing, it was good for the team and the students to experience a loss.
It is good to have a lot of school spirit and to have pride in your school, but sometimes is good to experience some disappointment and lose. It lets people know that they can’t always expect to win and that it’s still going to take a lot of hard work to get where they want to be in order to succeed.
