Utah may not be the home of Hollywood, but plenty of celebrities call it home.

David Archuleta- Ever since he stole the hearts of teenage and preteen girls everywhere with his debut on American Idol in 2007 David Archuleta has released six albums. According to davidarchuleta.com his first single “Crush” reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has sold over 2 million copies. He hasn’t written any songs since he returned from a two year mission in Chile but he did co-write “Cherry Lane” with Brooke White for her Charity Alum Never Grow Up.

    Julianne Hough– Julianne Hough is a singer, songwriter, actress, professional ballroom dancer and a judge on Dancing with the Stars. She was born in Orem, Utah and graduated from Alta High School. According to iMDb her debut album Julianne Hough reached number 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and number 3 on the Billboard 200. Her first acting role was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, as an unnamed student.

    Imagine Dragons- This Grammy Award-winning band started in Provo, Utah and is now a common household name. Their debut album, Night Visions, has sold more than 4.2 million copies according to The World Music Awards. It has been certified platinum in twelve countries and has made appearances on the Billboard 200 for the past three years. It is still unrevealed where they got their name but Dan Reynolds, band member, revealed that it is an anagram made up of other words, according to Inquisitor.

    The Osmonds- The Osmond family has been making music for more than fifty years, the family began its famous career in 1958 when four of the boys began singing as a barber shop quartet. Since then the family has become well-known for their music and according to Metro Radio Arena have sold more than 142 million copies collectively.

    The Piano Guys- before the Piano Guys came to be, Jon Schmidt, a pianist, would play at big-name places like the Sandy Amphitheater. Now—with the addition of Steven Sharp Nelson, a cellist—the Piano Guys play around the world. They got their start on YouTube and have since gained more than three million subscribers and have many videos that have culminated more than twenty million views.
