The Time of Our Lives
We all can remember our first day at Bingham, and most of us can agree that it feels like it was just yesterday. Sophomore year was filled with many firsts, and senior year is filled with even more lasts. What was once our first school dance has now become our last. And what was once our first time watching the football and basketball teams take State from the student section has now become our last. Where has the time gone?
Maybe we can’t all agree that high school has been the best years of our life, but I think it’s safe to say it has most definitely been the days we will never forget.
Look how far we’ve come! We used to need maps to get around the school, but now we’re lucky if we even make it to class. We lovingly call that “Senioritis”. And nobody except your parents judges you for it.
When you look back on your life, you’re going to remember these days as good days, but we hope that the day you graduate is the day your time begins. Because these days are good, but the best days of our lives are yet to come.
Let’s look back at all of the fun nights with friends, we’ve all spent countless nights disco skating at Classic or having bonfires with friends. These are great memories we’ll keep forever, and they might seem like some of the best days of our lives… but this is just a sneak peek of the amazing days that lie ahead.
The day that we throw our caps in the air will be the start of a new era. Whether we are off to college, pursuing religious/military duties, or chasing a dream, one thing that we all have in common is that the best time of our lives is just getting started.
The next few years will be full of new experiences, new friends, new challenges, and new adventures. But most importantly, the next few years will shape us into the people we will be for the rest of our lives. Leave all that high school drama behind and be the person you’ve always wanted to. Don’t forget to embrace every opportunity and live each day to the fullest, because these are the days we will never forget. This is the time of our lives.
