This is the first installment of a FICTIONAL story, written by the Prospector Staff.
Welcome to Tall Tower, Inc. located in Boise, Idaho. We are the largest surveillance company in the entire world, and owner of the most private island off the coast of Cuba. The contents of that island we will not discuss.
Tall Tower, Inc. got its name from its headquarters and office building, a 247 floor skyscraper often referred to by locals as “The Obelisk.” This giant skyscraper is home to all of our operations world wide, and employs 669,750 people. We offer surveillance to anyone who can afford it. All of these other companies don’t have people watching all of your cameras 24/7, but we do. And to make sure we always have “employees” to keep your property safe, all of our “employees” sign a 1-billion-year contract
saying that they’ll work for us. To make sure the “employees” are always on task we have the Surveillance-surveillance department, where they watch the people who are watching your cameras. And the Surveillance-surveillance-surveillance department who watches the people who watch the people who watch your cameras.
Each “employee” has approximately 10-square-feet of space, and because the Tall Tower was built in 1964, the building does not have air conditioning. And please ignore the suspiciously body-shaped stain in the corner, we have been trying to get it out for decades. This building has no windows to allow for the maximum amount of productivity. The elevator has been down since 1965, so employees have to use the once central staircase.
You may be asking yourself, how have you heard nothing about us, that is because of “The Whistleblower Room.” This is a room in the basement with brick walls 8-feet-thick covered with glass and olive oil. You may be asking yourself, what is “The Whistleblower Room,” and our answer to that question is what are you talking about. We have never heard of such a thing. And you may be wondering how many people are in this room and our answer is one more now.
If you decide to work for Tall Tower, Inc. earn a yearly salary of $208 dollars. Tall Tower provides them with food and housing as well as transportation from our compound where they live to “The Obelisk.” Children born to parents working for Tall Tower, Inc. are born into a 1-billion-year contract with us.
When working for us, you will live in the Tall Tower Living Compound (TTLC) located just outside of Twin Falls, Idaho. It is a 1,600 acre compound, where meals are provided once a day. Each person has 100-square-feet of living space and shares a bathroom with 50 other people. “Employees” can enjoy recreational activities like sitting, and
laying down.
The TTLC is surrounded by 20 foot brick walls topped with barbed wire, and has the enjoyable feature of having Tall Tower surveillance systems, with audio, video and inferred surveillance systems monitored 24/7 at the Tall Tower.
You will be provided with transportation from the TTLC to the Tall Tower offices via the Tall Tower Transportation Train (TTTT). The TTTT arrives to pick up “employees” at 5:30am on the dot to take them to the Tall Tower. The train back to the TTLC leaves at 11:30pm.
When working for the Tall Tower, Inc., you will be required to work every day, and no vacation or sick days are given, so make sure you never get sick.
