The Architect of the Stage
Building a legacy often happens behind the scenes, and for Bingham High senior Bridget Good, that is exactly where she thrives. From the paint-stained floors of the theater wings, to the sterile precision of a dental office, Bridget has spent her high school career proving that “saying yes” is the ultimate key to success.
While audiences marvel at the performances on stage, Bridget has spent the last five years, three of them at Bingham, ensuring those worlds come to life. As the Stage Tech President, she has worked on nine, almost ten plays, and has earned several prestigious awards for best set design.
For her, the theater is more than just a technical job; it’s a community. “My favorite memories are spending time after school in stage tech working for hours tirelessly with people, creating lifelong bonds and friendships,” she shares. “I’m so grateful for the chance to be involved so deeply in our school’s performing arts program, even if it is behind the scenes.”
Bridget’s influence extends far beyond the auditorium. Her resume reads like a masterclass in involvement: HOSA President, currently preparing for an upcoming competition, she leads the future health professionals of tomorrow; musician, a violinist of 11 years, she brings a disciplined ear to the school orchestra; and advocate, she is a member of the Golden Gate Club, Voices for Change, and Women’s Empowerment.
Bridget isn’t just focused on high school; she’s already building her professional future. Through the JATC program, she currently works as a dental assistant, balancing real-world clinical experience with her senior year responsibilities. Her relentless drive is fueled by a simple philosophy: “I’m motivated by the passion to do anything and everything,” she says. “I want to try whatever is available.
Following graduation, Bridget will head to Utah State University to undergraduate in biology, the first step in her long-term goal of attending dental school. As she prepares to leave the halls of Bingham, she leaves behind a piece of advice for those following in her footsteps: “Say yes to every good thing, integrate yourself fully into every experience offered to you. High school is a place to explore yourself and the opportunities offered to you.”
