There has always been one question in our whole entire live that we didn’t know the answer to, our parents asked us when we were 15 “what are your plans after high school.”
First and foremost we as 15 year olds didn’t really know what to say at the time cause ofcourse we were not in high school and all we ever really focused on was video games, do that new trend on tik tok that everyone is doing and our minds were to distracted by things that those big companies wanted us to be distracted to. But as we grow up and get to high school most of us start to find out what we want to do with our lives. So I asked some seniors I know on what do you want to do after you graduate and what are your graduation plans. My first question was what career would you like to get into more or what actual job would you like to do and how did you find out.
While most of them said they were found out by JATC, others said that their parents got them into it not out of peer pressure but out of personal interest like it caught their attention and wanted to know more about it. I asked my friend Bane and he said that “ after graduation I have plans and my parents have plans for me.” he said that him and his parents kinda had the same idea im not going to get into detail because that is his life not ours but they talked it out and they agreed he also told me “ i have strict parents and i am ok with that.” i asked one more question and i said how did you know what to do after high school? One simple response “ I followed what I liked and stuck to it, sure I tried a couple other things but I found my passion or like my purpose.” It was funny to me because that is what all the other seniors said to me when I asked that question. The same answer is that it was my passion or something that I really liked to do in my life.
In conclusion it can be hard to figure out what you wanna do with your life after graduation and sometimes you might need some help figuring out what that thing you want to do after is. Its a rough road at the beginning but if you find something you are passionate about then you can make that into a career after you get that diploma.
