Senior Advice
We interviewed seniors around the building, and this was the advice that they had to share!
“What advice would you give to the incoming sophomores?”
| Don’t be nervous and have fun and participate in the school when possible
enjoy high school it flies by. dont skip you’ll regret it!! When you wake up in the morning and you don’t feel like going to school, go back to bed. take all of the required classes early make your senior year rock! also go to class school is harder if you don’t. Stay on top of your work Time flies by faster than you think, especially after a rough week. You get out of a hard place, spend the entire weekend doing homework, then suddenly it’s 2 months later and the school year is already almost over. Take your time, and enjoy the little aspects of your day. High School is way better than anything you’ve seen. 4 yrs goes by fast,, learn but also have fun and enjoy it! Being in class, no matter how boring it is, is important for graduation. |

take easy classes have fun and dont worry too much about your future everything will fall into place. go fish lots Show up!!! also do your online classes early and on time dont do all of it the last week. also find a class you enjoy and show up it will make your year better. This is the end of your high school career, and you’re losing everything you’ve ever had before. Once you get out, no one will tell you where to go, what do to, when to use the bathroom, what your worth is based on a letter grade, etc. Losing that is terrifying, going out into the real world is terrifying, and you should be terrified. But you need to do it even though you’re scared. You don’t have to know what you want to do, where you want to go, or who you want to be. But you have to be scared, and you have to do it despite that fear. don’t fall in the senioritus rabbit hole Senioritis is a real thing Try your best, and don’t think you can stop trying just because you’re a senior. |
If you could pass on anything to any current sophomore or junior what would it be and why?
| put the phone down and say hello. To many people are on phones during lunch and in the halls
skip as much school as possible because you can go fishing instead I would pass on my welding booth 12 but I’m taking my private airline. Take Boberg, Harrison, and Mason You can walk around the giant square around the library about 3-4 times and still have enough time to get to class before the bell rings, in case you want to daydream between classes. turn your work in on time!! Go to class Attendance in any class is important because it determines whether or not you pass the class. |
