South America (See the World)
“It’s like America, but South”
The world is full of many exciting places to visit. With seven continents to get to, the idea of seeing the world can seem like a very intimidating venture, but it is doable. South America is one of the most exciting destinations for your inner traveler, and is a great combination of both urban and agricultural environments. There are many small villages to visit that give one a taste of the way it used to be, and for the most part the people in these villages are still living life in the way that they did hundreds of years ago. This gives one the chance to get back in to the past and out of the hectic modern world. There are plenty of old ruins from ancient civilizations to visit and explore, a blast form the past as many of the places have hardly been touched since their prime. One of the most famous of these is Machu Pichu in Peru. There are also many big cities where the Latin American culture thrives and the streets busy with the hustle and bustle of the modern life. These countries all have very unique cultures and customs as the people practice both their native ways, but also adopted many customs of European countries such as Portugal and Spain. In fact, many Amazonian tribes still live in complete isolation and have not opened themselves up to the modern world at all which is a very cool cultural observation. They live in circumstances very similar to their ancestors and still practice many traditions
There is also a very diverse selection of wildlife and plant life. Northern South America is home to animals such as the alpaca and has rocky hills and high terrain, while southern South Africa is full of tropical forests and exotic birds, animals, and plant life.
