An Open Letter to Bingham

Dear Bingham,

Senior year has come and gone and I can’t believe I’m sitting here writing this. I’ve gone to Bingham for my entire high school career and even though I’ve had quite a few rough patches, I’m glad I got to go here. I’ve met people who have made my life at Bingham spectacular and I couldn’t thank them enough. Shout out to my best friend, Haley Angle, who pushed me out of my comfort zone, forced me to be social and made me experience high school to the fullest.

I also want to thank the English and Social Studies teachers that not only taught me on various subjects but shaped me into the person I am today. Whether they were a source of comic relief or someone who opened my eyes to the world around me, I thank you. Also, shout out to the Newspaper class whose opinionated debates and just overall sass in class brought me joy in the morning. Even though I didn’t get to know all of you extremely well (due to my quiet personality) I will remember you all as I go on my own journey to college.

As well as Newspaper, the Lit Mag staff and NHS members will hold a special place in my heart and I will miss them all. I might even miss the crowded hallways and parking lot…no, I can’t even pretend that that’s true. But I will miss the overall atmosphere of Bingham, the school spirit and the always winning is great too.

Love always,

Brooke Anderson
