The year has begun and so have our sports! As we go on so many events pass by. The girls volleyball are hitting it hard and fast. They just came off a big game of lone peak, and won! Our lady miners hosted Lehi and they decided to keep the winning streak going! As they get going they are trying their hardest to win those games. The Lady Miners are hitting it strong. As there new upcoming game on Oct 1, 2024 against Herriman high school. They are getting ready with lots of practice. Coach Reed has been coaching for 20 years! With prior knowledge of being a part of his male volleyball team in high school. He’s been here at bingham for two years, and even though he isn’t one of our lovely teachers he is an amazing miner’s family member. Seeing the girls work with the coach was amazing. They all got along really well. Our lady miners have been doing an amazing job, and the chemistry between the girls was amazing, they all did an amazing job during the game, though our opponents were tough they did their best! Even if some of our lady miners weren’t playing, they came and supported the team. From the coach and to the girl they have a mix of volleyball experience, from 5 years to 25 years. To see this all play out this was amazing. Before every game they say a creed, which basically is a mantra that represents who they are and who they strive to be. The Game was powerful even in practice seeing all the girls work together is great. The coaches are very mindful of what’s going on and are always helping the girls during the game.  And at every point even if not gained they always hug to boost the mood. And while the girls were on the sidelines they were always cheering on the others. “The best thing the girls can do is always build a great system” Coach Reed had mentioned, Which seems like he’s right as we have been doing really well! The Captains also think that the chemistry between the players is great. They are doing their best they can and  they love supporting each other.
